Our memory remains inside of us without any sense of time, while the nature proceed with complete sense of time. I use my work to explore this void between something unnatural, something visible and something invisible, and something living and something dying in order to find intersection of our timeless memory and constantly changing nature.
I take a photograph as a record of my memory. Then it the process of developing negatives, I put myself in the complete darkness in the darkroom. There I use a brush and chemicals to re-paint, only following my memory. As a result, the parts I remember the most reveal themselves more clear, the parts I have forgotten reveal themselves less clear.
